Why Parallax

Designers and engineers, in one room

Most conferences split the audience at the door: the design track upstairs, the engineering track down the corridor, and the interesting argument happens in neither. Parallax programmes every slot so that both halves of a product team want to be in it.

Every speaker is paid the same fee. Sponsors fund the coffee and the captions, never a slot on stage. And the talks are chosen blind, from abstracts with the names taken off.

The programme lands by email first

One email when each batch of speakers is confirmed, one when the schedule is final, one the week before. Nothing else, and never passed to a sponsor.

Three to five emails before May. Unsubscribe from any of them.
