Starting prices for client work, and the plans for the software it runs on. The
software is priced as you see it; every engagement is quoted in a written proposal
after a real conversation.
Every engagement is officially quoted before any commitment. Read the terms
One plan, every app. For the agency, not per product.
The agency is the customer. One plan covers the Hub, Terminal, StackIDE and Baselumen for
the whole team, in every workspace, on one invoice.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax.
Someone at a client company, seeing only the work shared with them, its chat and its approvals. No seat, however many you invite.
Staging
Free for every site
Every Terminal site publishes to its free address, with a small badge and no search indexing.
Agent connections (MCP)
Free on every plan
Connect any AI agent that supports MCP to every product on your own plan — no AI key, no model usage billed by us.
Stage free. Pay per site on its own domain.
Every site built in Terminal publishes to its free staging address, on every plan. A
site that goes out on its own domain takes a site plan, billed one site at a time on
the agency’s one invoice.
To bill your own client, a site’s settings send them a pay link for the site. On the Agency
plan they can pay it by card, straight into your own Stripe account; or they pay you the way
you already invoice, and you mark it paid.
Terminal's site settings for Lumen Dental: bill the client for the site's plan, add app routes to the same bill, write a note,
and create a billing request. Beside it, the page the client's pay link opens, itemised as the bill changes.

No longer active. Your agency withdrew this bill, so nothing is due on it. If that is a surprise, ask them for a fresh link.

StackIDE is included. On every plan, during the private alpha.
StackIDE, the Stacklumen desktop app for Mac and Windows, comes with every account,
Free included. It works on the sites and plans you already have: what you save in it
reaches the site, and its Publish puts the site live on the same terms as the web.
A short demo of StackIDE, the Stacklumen desktop app, plays: the heading is rewritten and saved, and the Designer tab shows it live; the status bar's Publish button puts Northgate live, step by step.

Common questions.
Money matters.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For projects over $10,000, we offer 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. For larger engagements, we structure milestone-based payments.
What if my scope changes?
We provide a written change order with an updated timeline and price. Small adjustments are usually covered within the original scope.
Are there hidden fees?
No. All costs are outlined in the proposal. Once live, your only ongoing cost is the all-inclusive hosting & maintenance plan, plus any optional third-party services you specifically request — domains, premium APIs, fonts.
Do you host and maintain my site?
Yes. For all clients going forward, every site or app we deliver is hosted and maintained on one flat, all-inclusive plan — $100/month for small businesses (under 20 employees) and $300/month for medium businesses (20–500 employees). It covers hosting, tool and software costs, database upkeep, updates, security patching, and small changes — no separate host bill. Over 500 employees is a custom plan. Full detail on the Hosting page.
Can I cancel hosting?
Yes, with 30 days notice. No long-term contracts. We earn the relationship month by month.
How we work.
What’s your typical timeline?
Landing pages 2–3 weeks. Marketing sites 4–6 weeks. Web apps 6–12 weeks. Detailed timelines live in the proposal.
How do you handle revisions?
Two rounds per phase are included. Additional rounds are billed hourly or covered under a retainer.
Do you provide design services?
We specialize in development and motion. We have trusted design partners we’ll recommend, or we’ll work from designs you bring.
What stack do you use?
Marketing sites are built in Terminal, our own site builder. Applications run on Astro or Next.js with Supabase. The proposal will spell out what we recommend and why.
After launch.
What happens after launch?
60 days of free support is included on every project for bug fixes and technical questions. After that, you can continue with a retainer or pay hourly for updates.
Do you offer emergency support?
Retainer clients get priority support with sub-24-hour response times. One-off emergency fixes are billed at $185/hr.
Can you maintain existing projects?
Yes. We’ll audit the codebase, document everything, and either migrate it or maintain it as-is under a retainer.
Need custom features later?
No problem. We’re available for ongoing feature work on a project or retainer basis. Your codebase is yours to extend.
The fine print.
Every engagement is officially quoted before any commitment.
All pricing on this page — including service tier prices, the live estimator, and the example breakdowns — is for planning reference only. It is not a binding offer, contract, or guarantee.
Final pricing, timeline, and scope are set in a written proposal after a discovery conversation
Estimator results are ballpark figures based on simplified assumptions and may differ materially from a real quote
Project scope, technical complexity, and integration requirements can shift pricing in either direction
No project is initiated, and no work is performed, without a signed proposal that supersedes anything shown here
Stacklumen reserves the right to decline projects or revise pricing during the discovery phase
If you’d like a real quote tailored to your project, reach out via the contact page. We respond within 24 hours and send proposals within three business days.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. White-label engagements include an NDA by default. Standard projects can add one on request.
Who owns the work?
You do. Full source code, full platform workspace transfer if applicable, full database access.
Where are you based?
Lexington, KY. We work remote-first, with clients wherever they are.
