The Firm
A firm that ships.
Stacklumen is a software and web development company — not an
agency, not a freelancer, not a marketplace listing. We design, build, and ship
websites and applications for small teams who want craft without the agency
overhead, and the speed without the freelancer fragility.
What we make
Custom marketing & Shopify sites.
Pixel-honest builds with hand-rolled GSAP, Lenis, Finsweet integrations. Embeds
tuned to platform limits. Dark mode + a11y audited.
What else
Production applications.
React + TypeScript apps for SaaS, marketplaces, internal tools. Auth, billing,
admin, infra from day one. Embedded, not arms-length.
How we work
Embedded with founders. Weekly demos. Full ownership at handover.
Fixed proposals in 72 hours. Weekly cadence on real staging URLs — feedback in
the work, not slides about it. Code, docs, decision logs, and 60 days of
post-launch support transfer on launch.
The Lineage
Three names. One trajectory.
Stacklumen is the third iteration of the same firm — sharpened each time. Same
hands, same standard, clearer story.
Era 01 — 2022
Axom
Founding chapter
Started as a small web practice. First retainers, first design system, first internal embed library — the patterns that still show up in everything we ship.
Era 02 — 2024–2025
Stackent
Production chapter
Expanded into Shopify, custom React apps, and agency partnerships. The firm matured around production-grade work: real embeds, real components, real handovers.
Era 03 — Now
Stacklumen
Working name
Same firm, sharpened framing. Stacklumen makes the relationship between firm work and shipped products explicit — and gives the apps we build a home of their own.
Heads up
All active engagements moved cleanly.
Client work, retainers, and component libraries are continuous
across the rebrand.
The Process
Four phases. Zero theater.
A predictable cadence: scope fast, design in motion, ship weekly, hand over
completely. No surprise scope, no big reveal — real progress every Friday.
Discover
Scope & proposal in 72 hours.
~ 3 days
A focused intro call, a written brief, and a fixed proposal back within three business days. If we’re not the right fit, we say so — and point you somewhere that is.
Design
Design in motion, not deliverables.
1–2 weeks
Static comps are dead weight. We design in Figma and prototype in code from week one. What you approve is what ships — animation and edge cases included.
Build
Ship weekly. Demo in-context.
3–8 weeks
Weekly demos on a real staging URL. Feedback in the work, not slides about the work. Real progress every Friday, not a curated reveal at the end.
Launch
Handover with full ownership.
launch + 60
Code, written documentation, decision logs, and 60 days of post-launch support — all yours. No vendor lock-in. No monthly tax for code we already wrote.
What We Ship
Five ways in.
Pick the engagement that fits. Fixed proposals in 72 hours, weekly demos until
launch, full code ownership at handover.
Live Web Practice
Websites, engineered like software.
Pixel-honest custom builds with hand-rolled GSAP, Lenis, Finsweet, and embed systems tuned to stay under platform limits. Dark mode and accessibility audited.
Live Apps
Production apps.
8–12 week sprints. SaaS, marketplaces, internal tools. Auth, billing, admin from day one.
Live Migrations
Modernize without losing SEO.
WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, modernized. 301s, schema, Core Web Vitals.
Live Retainers
A permanent partner.
Monthly block for CMS work, A/B tests, features. Slack channel, same-day response.
Live Partnerships
White-label, by default.
Your brand, your relationship — our engineering. NDA-protected. Any mix of work.
Products
Products we ship. In public.
Born from the patterns we use on client work. Baselumen — components, portals and
web tools — is live and paid, and the Stacklumen App is shipped.
The Stack
Opinionated tools. Compounding output.
Tools shape outcomes. We’re deliberate about ours — the same foundation every
engagement, so velocity compounds. We don’t switch stacks per client; we sharpen the
one we have.

none rebuilt from a template.

- Killebrew Real Estate / Web
- Visidex B2B / Branding
Heads up Not pictured: white-labeled work behind partner agencies, retainer
engagements under NDA, and projects we declined. We say no often enough that "yes"
means something.
What’s Next
What we’re building next.
Direction, not commitment. The full roadmap lives at its own page; this is the short
version.
In Dev Q3 2026
Client portals public alpha.
First public release of client portals in Baselumen. Stripe billing, threaded approvals on staging, version-tracked file delivery. Free during alpha, with a waitlist queue.
In Dev Q4 2026
Baselumen Figma surface.
Component library opening to a waitlist queue. Copy-ready embeds and React components with live previews and one-click copy. Built from the embed system used on every Stacklumen client site.
Soon Q3 2026
Firm capacity expansion.
Onboarding two new agency partners. Retainer slots expand from 6 to 10. White-label inquiries open through Q3.
Future 2027+
Stacklumen AI co-builder.
An AI agent trained on our patterns. Generate animation timelines, debug class conflicts, translate Figma into shippable embeds.
