Dovelumen by Stacklumen

A client portal worth opening.
And the practice behind it.

Dovelumen gives every client a portal in your own brand, and runs the work behind it: proposals, approvals, agreements, invoices and the updates that keep everyone in the loop. Made first for interior designers, and a fit for any practice with clients.

An example practice’s Today screen, and its client’s portal on a phone. The practice, people and figures are invented.

An example practice’s Today screen, and its client’s portal on a phone. The practice, people and figures are invented.

The portal. From your practice, not from software.

Clients are invited by email, in your name, and sign in with their own address. What they see is yours: your brand, your terms, your updates.

Waiting on you, first

The portal opens on what the client owes you: a selection to approve, an agreement to sign, a deposit to pay. Each with its date, so nothing waits on a lost email.

A welcome in your voice

New clients answer a short brief in your colours and voice, saved at every step. The answers arrive on the project, ready for the first meeting.

Agreements first

Your terms and any disclosures, signed typed or drawn, before the work starts. A signed copy is kept, frozen and fingerprinted, with who signed and when.

Weekly updates

A short note each week from the person running the project, with photos and the week’s facts beside it: the phase, the decisions made, the deliveries.

Approve and pay in one step

A client approves a proposal and pays its deposit together. Invoices are paid by card or bank transfer into your own Stripe account; Dovelumen never holds your clients’ money.

The whole household

Clients invite the people they want involved: a partner, an assistant, a house manager. Each gets the right access, and you see who did what.

The practice behind it. In the same record.

What clients see and what your team runs are one record, so a decision in the portal is already on the project, the purchase order and the invoice.

  1. Today

The day opens on four figures, a short list of what needs you with the action beside each, and where every project stands.

  2. Entered once

Each item follows itself through the project: proposed, approved, ordered, received, invoiced, paid.

  3. Your margin stays yours

Cost, supplier, markup and freight live on the practice’s side. Proposals, invoices and the portal show the client’s price, never the margin.

  4. Roles

Owner, admin, designer and bookkeeper, each seeing their part. Only the owner sets where client payments are paid out.

Know where every client stands. Before they have to tell you.

Opens, decisions and payments as they happen, and how engaged each client is. First-party, disclosed to clients, and never a screen recording.

The live feed

Who joined, who opened the update, what was approved and what was paid, as it happens.

Needs attention

The clients and items that need you, each with the reason it is on the list.

Engagement

How engaged each client is, for owners, so a quiet client is noticed before the work stalls.

Made first for interior designers. A fit for any practice with clients.

One app, in your industry’s words: a project is a job, a commission or an engagement, and a selection is a change order, a fixture choice or an approval.

  • Interior design
  • Architecture
  • Construction
  • Plumbing & home services
  • Creative agencies
  • Consultants
  • Wellness & other practices

Agentic, next. With a person in charge.

These are planned and designed, and not available yet. Anything a client would see from them is reviewed and sent by a person.

  • Weekly updates, drafted

    Coming

A draft of each project’s weekly update, written from the week’s activity, for the person running the project to edit and decide whether it goes.

  • Intake and brief summaries

    Coming

When a client finishes their welcome, a summary of their answers for the team to check before the first meeting.

  • Follow-up suggestions

    Coming

When a client goes quiet, or an invoice has been viewed but not paid, a suggested next step and a draft message to send, change or ignore.

  • Ask Claude about your business

    Coming

An MCP connector, so owners can ask questions about their own practice with the same permissions they have in Dovelumen.
