Dev Program terms.

Free on every plan. Credit is recognition, never payment, and every decision about your standing comes with its reason.

Effective October 7, 2026

About these terms

The Stacklumen Dev Program recognises client work built with Stacklumen’s products: it reviews the work, credits it to the people who made it, and lists members in a public directory. These terms apply to the program in addition to the Terms of Service. Where they differ on something specific to the program, these terms apply.

The program is free, on every plan. Nothing in it is a job, an agency or partnership agreement, or an offer of paid work from Stacklumen.

Membership

Membership belongs to a workspace, not to a person. The workspace’s owners and admins apply on its behalf, keep its listing and answer its introductions. A workspace must be in good standing under the Terms of Service to apply or to remain a member.

A person at Stacklumen reviews every application and aims to answer within 10 working days. We may approve, waitlist, ask for more information or decline, and we tell you why. A workspace whose application is declined may apply again after 90 days.

Work you submit

When you submit work, you confirm that:

  • your workspace made it, or the people you credit had the roles you give them;
  • you have the right to show it, and you name a client only with their agreement;
  • it is client work you shipped, not a lightly changed template or someone else’s work.

You keep everything you own in the work. You give Stacklumen a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show the details you submit (the title, the description, the cover image, the client line you chose and links to the live work) in the program’s showcase, directory and member pages, and to use them for review, for as long as the work is credited and not private. You can make a piece private, or withdraw it, at any time; we stop showing it publicly within a reasonable time.

You choose how each client appears: named (with their agreement), hidden behind their industry, or private. Private work counts toward your tier and is never shown.

Review and credit

Work is reviewed by a person against the rubric published on the program page. Every decision comes with a reason. A piece may be returned for changes up to 2 times before it is credited or declined. You may ask for a second review by replying to a decision.

We may withdraw a credit if the work goes offline, changes beyond what was reviewed, or was misrepresented. We tell you why, and the points it earned are taken back as a visible line in your ledger.

Another member can credit you on their work. A credit you accept appears on your Dev page; it does not count toward your tier.

Points and tiers

Points and tiers are recognition only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred, and are not a balance owed by Stacklumen. Selling your templates in the Baselumen marketplace is separate and has its own terms.

Tier thresholds and the points table are published on the program page. A tier moves up as soon as your record meets it. It only moves down at a review on 1 January or 1 July, at least 60 days after we tell you it is under review, and only if your record has not recovered by then. Stacklumen may set a member’s tier by hand, with a written reason.

The directory and introductions

From Verified, a member is listed in the public directory unless it chooses not to be. The directory’s order is published, and nobody can pay for a place in it.

Clients can ask a listed member for an introduction. Stacklumen passes the request on and is not a party to any engagement that follows: we do not vet clients, guarantee work, set prices or take a fee on it. You agree the terms of your work with the client directly, and you handle the contact details you receive in line with the law that applies to you.

The “Built by” credit

You may show the “Built by … Stacklumen Dev” line on credited work that is not private, linking to the page Stacklumen hosts for that credit. Use it as provided, only on that work, and remove it if the credit is turned off or withdrawn. It says Stacklumen reviewed and credited the work; it is not an endorsement of anything else.

Conduct, pausing and removal

Do not submit work that is not yours, claim the same work twice, inflate your record, misuse introductions, or misrepresent your standing in the program. We may pause or end a membership, or remove a listing, for a breach of these terms or the Terms of Service. We always give a written reason, and you can reply to ask us to reconsider.

Changes and leaving

We may change the program. Every change to its rules is dated on the program page, and a threshold never moves against members without notice. We may also end the program, with reasonable notice.

You can leave at any time by writing to support@stacklumen.com. Your listing and public credits come down; what you submitted stays in your workspace.

These pages are written to be read, and they are the terms we operate by — but they are maintained by the team, not issued as legal advice. If something here matters to a decision you are making, ask your own counsel, and if anything looks wrong or unclear, tell us at support@stacklumen.com.
